Here you will do the 6km (3.5 hours) Brindle Creek Walk, with a mixture of Gondwanna remnant rainforest and upland subtropical rainforest.  You will  see more Antarctic beech than almost any other walk in NSW and if that all wasn’t enough, you’ll also see 2 waterfalls, Selva Falls and Evans Falls. You will enjoy a locally sourced lunch one of the waterfalls.

After your Brindle Creek Walk, you will do the 750M Red Cedar Walk, featuring a 1000 year old red cedar tree, amongst  more upland subtropical rainforest.

We will then drive 2 hours through the hinterland to Nightcap Ridge, nestled on Nightcap National Park. These luxury 4 star cottages, let you immerse in the national park, with style and comfort.

Day two

This walk starts at 850m and finishes at 350m but there are up and down sections on the way. This track is significant for many reasons, it was used by the Widjabul people and is said the Cleverman could be found at Dirangah Rocks, which are impressive eroded volcanic vents. It was also used as the old Postmans Track from Nimbin to Murwillumbah. Along the way you will see; many forest types, magnificent vistas of the tweed caldera and the old postmans tree (where he used to sleep on his journey). You will have lunch your locally sourced lunch on the track. The hike finishes at Rummery park which is a 2 minute drive from Nightcap Ridge.

If 19km is too much for you we can offer you an alternative 10.3 km (3 hours) Boggy Creek Walk. This walk will start at Nightcap Ridge, walk along a dirt road to Rummery Park, where you will follow the creek all the way to Minyon Falls, then head back to along the escarpment on the eastern boundary trail to Rummery Park,  then back to Nightcap Ridge.

Dinner will be locally sourced and will include beer and wine.

After dinner you will have the option to do a guided Night Vision Walk on the property, and look for what ever nocturnal wildlife we might find. (you can choose to either do it on night one or night two).
